Final prelim

This is the the final edited version of our preliminary task, 'Tick Tock'. Having completed this preliminary task has forced me to plan my final piece in much further detail, as when it came to filming this particular task I was forced to change my original ideas. For example cutting out sections of the original story board as I had not accounted for poor weather, and had not allowed for the extreme change in lighting ruining film quality. During planning for my final task I will also spend more time focusing on costume selection, as I did not spend any time choosing costume on this task. This resulted in the characters looking around 16 years old, making this clip un realistic and lack verisimilitude. I will also look further into actor selection. As this was just a preliminary task, we used members of our group whilst filming. When I come to filming the actual task I will be using characters of the actual age, social class, ethnicity and gender for example; using a middle aged man for a factory worker and a young child for any school children needed. Also in this clip we used make shift lighting, we used a single back light, with all curtains closed in order to create a single spot light.In my final piece I will plan both natural and prostetic lighting. Which will create a higher quality piece.
