Today my film and I filmed our preliminary task, using the Nikon D3100 we as a group completed all shots we intended to complete. We completed this list of shots; Mid shot of My character Charles; Mid shot of Tom's Character turning round to respond to my character; Mid shot of Tom trying to explain himself; Point of view shot down the sight of the gun which slowly zoomed out to show Toms now scared face; the final shot includes a close up of my characters face from Tom's characters point of view.
During filming we as a group decided to change some of the shots we had originally planned to film on our story boards. On our story boards we planned to film a panning shot showing my character entering the room where Toms character was sat. We changed our mind about using this shot as it had a huge contrast of lighting and did not fit with the theme of the other shots.
In order to film this short preliminary task we used the Nikon D3100 and tripod to gain a high quality, steady number of shots.
